Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one victories have been achieved on hard surfaces
A comeback the Russian player won his initial championship for nearly 30 months with success over opponent Moutet in the competition title decider.
The Russian, a ex- world number one, has experienced a difficult season, managing just a single victory at the Grand Slams and suffering a difficult moment at the American major.
The player's inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his serving in specific - resulted in him exiting of the world's top 10 and finally parting ways with long-time mentor Gilles Cervara.
Presently training with Thomas Johansson and his other coach, he has steadily advanced in the recent weeks - climaxing in a hard-fought three-set victory over opponent Corentin Moutet.
This marks his first trophy since the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hardcourt after that period of the previous year.
Success also indicates Medvedev has secured twenty-one titles at 21 different tournaments.
"It's the first time I'm at a event with my children together, so to get a title is particularly special," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in honour of my second daughter her name, because the first title I achieved when my older daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had been defeated in his last six finals, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
The player's retrieving approach and regular outbursts on court had prompted commentators to doubt if his ability to compete at the highest level was concluded.
But the player has altered his approach in recent weeks, attempting to come to the net and play aggressively, reinforced by an enhanced service.
The champion recovered from a disadvantage in the initial set against the difficult Moutet, winning 4 of the last five games to gain the advantage.
Both players traded service breaks in the following set before Moutet, attempting for his initial ATP Tour title, took control to force a final set.
He rescued four initial break points in a close final set before the champion won the break to that score to secure the win.
Fittingly, he secured victory with a shot at the net, with Moutet incapable to handle a volley after a lengthy match.
